FIRST THERE WERE THREE...

Blumenbecker Prag s.r.o. was founded by three former employees of the companies ČKD-DIZ and ČKD-Polovodiče, all of whom could offer several years’ worth of experience in the fields of control systems and variable speed drives, and had dealt with a number of large-scale projects in the metal and paper industries.

In its infancy, the company’s main sphere of activity was programming and commissioning control systems, with a particular focus on SIMATIC S5 for overseas customers. Its first projects for the paper industry involved variable speed drives, a field which even today remains one of the company’s key areas of activity.
Having grown from this point to 18 employees, the company’s headquarters were relocated to Prague’s Karlín district. Its work involving programming and commissioning of control systems was expanded to include Allen-Bradley and GE-Fanuc products. An example of a large-scale project taken on during this period was the complete overhaul of a paper machine for KRPA Hostinné.

Continuous growth to 50 employees necessitated yet another move – this time to the district of Malešice in Prague 10, which has remained the company’s headquarters to this day.

Over the years that followed, the company became FINDER’s representative within the Czech Republic, a system partner for Siemens, a technical and sales representative for the German company SWAC's operator panel products, as well as a system partner for robots produced by KUKA, another German-based company.
The sustained success of the business led to the foundation of Bratislava-based subsidiary Blumenbecker Slovakia s.r.o.
